AVCM was grateful to be a part of NVC 2023 held in the Perdana Hotel KLCC on 5-7 December 2023, not only as an exhibitor, a presenter, but also most importantly, getting to know many great people who worked hard contributing in the acoustics field.
We had the chance to showcase products and information about the brands that we represent locally, including Norsonic, SoundPLAN GmbH and SPEKTRA Schwingungstechnik und Akustik GmbH Dresden, not forgetting also to share about some insights and the acoustics services that we can provide as a group of independent acoustical consultants.
Our very own engineer, Khei Yinn Seow, also presented her paper topic about “Developing a nationwide environmental noise map database – the implemented methodology and the potential benefits to Malaysia”, co-authored with Michel T.H. Rosmolen, SoundPLAN’s @Michael Gillé and Corinna Kurz.
We would like to express our appreciation to the Society of Vibration and Acoustics Malaysia (SVAM) for organising the NVC 2023, which we think is a huge success. Looking forward to more events like this to link up more connections within the acoustics field, and of course most importantly to raise awareness about acoustics and vibration.
